At MOTEK, ATN will present the new MUSASHI dosing system SuperHiJet.
It is suitable for high-viscosity media up to 1,000,000 mPas such as solder pastes, heat conducting pastes, epoxy and silicone adhesives. Even smallest quantities can be separated, i.e. dispensing with highest precision is possible. For example, solder pastes can achieve dot diameters of 300 µm or epoxy adhesives can achieve dot diameters of 250 µm.

A typical feature of the SuperHiJet is the active dispensing principle. Contrary to the passive dosing principle, where the material to be dosed is conveyed exclusively via the inlet pressure, the inlet pressure is only needed to convey the material to be dosed into the dosing chamber with the SuperHiJet from MUSAHSI. The material is then actively pushed out of the dosing chamber with a tappet and thrown onto the substrate. Thus, even highly viscous materials can be dosed very precisely.

The SuperHiJet is driven by a piezo actuator. A special feature of the SuperHiJet is that not only the frequency and valve opening time but also the complete movement of the plunger are parameterized with speeds and accelerations/decelerations, and can thus be optimally adapted to the material to be dosed. Frequencies up to 300 Hz are possible. The valve includes an integrated heater up to 80 °C. For HotMelt adhesives a special version with working temperatures up to 180 °C is also possible.
With the SuperHiJet MUSASHI completes the Jet valves for contactless dispensing and offers with AeroJet, CyberJet, SuperJet and now also SuperHiJet a comprehensive program for a variety of materials to be dispensed. Contact person is the ATN Automatisierungstechnik Niemeier GmH from Berlin.
