Production Automation at Joint Technology Event in Autumn

The 43^rd Motek international trade fair for automation in production and assembly, held alongside the 18^th Bondexpo international trade fair for bonding technology, will provide an effective industry get-together in Stuttgart for the production and image processing sectors from the 6^th through the 8^th of October, 2026. The traditional trade fair duo will take advantage of numerous synergies this year thanks to its collaboration with the VISION international trade fair for image processing, which will take place at the same time in the same venue. Expert visitors benefit from an all-encompassing presentation of systems and solutions for industrial production technology, and consequently from an efficient trade fair visit as well.

Attendees at this year’s Motek/Bondexpo will gain valuable inspiration for new projects and partnerships. This autumn, the trade fair duo for production automation will form a unique technology platform in Stuttgart’s exhibition halls together with VISION, EFX (Expo for Electronics Manufacturing) and Quantum Effects. EFX is a new industry event for electronics manufacturing, showcasing trends and technologies in the production of electronic components. As a trade fair and conference for quantum technologies, Quantum Effects bridges the gap between science, startups and industry. By bringing all five specialised events together under a single roof, decision-makers, product developers and visionaries from all over the world come together at the same place. A single ticket entitles expert visitors to attend all events.

Thanks to the complementary range of topics, trade fair visitors will benefit from being able to gather information on sustainable manufacturing technologies in a focused and efficient manner at the same venue on all three days of the fair, from the 6th through the 8th of October, 2026. Expert visitors should also be sure to take advantage of the guided tours – these are targeted specifically at users from the electronics, semiconductor, aerospace, defence, automotive and battery production sectors. The trade fair promoters are organising a specially tailored programme of guided tours for these industries and will facilitate networking opportunities.

Experts from manufacturing companies will also have the opportunity of engaging in a peer-to-peer exchange of knowledge as part of the Motek/Bondexpo presentation forum. The promoters have assembled a highly interesting programme of relevant talks, which will take place in hall 6 on the first two days of the event. Talks will include, for example, “Modern Methods for Separating Bulk Parts”, “Opportunities and Challenges for the Use of AI in Industrial Image Processing”, “Digital Worker Guidance with Visual Control System: The Key to Industry 5.0”, and “Why Autonomous Mobile Robots are Becoming a Necessity Outdoors as Well” And thus once again this year, Motek/Bondexpo will be an important platform where machine manufacturers, system integrators and end customers can engage in direct dialogue – both at the exhibition itself and via various communication formats. As a specialised trade fair for automation in production and assembly, Motek/Bondexpo presents the entire value chain and facilitates targeted networking between technology suppliers and end-users.
