Motek/Bondexpo 2026: Useful Convergence of Production Expertise at one Place

The 43rd Motek, the international trade fair for production and assembly automation, has successfully kicked off alongside the 18th Bondexpo, the international trade fair for adhesive technology. From October 6 to 8, 2026, 152 exhibitors will showcase the latest innovations for modern industrial manufacturing in Hall 6 of the Stuttgart Exhibition Center. A special highlight this year is the collaboration with VISION, the international trade fair for machine vision, which is taking place at the same time and at the same location. This allows trade visitors to benefit from numerous synergies and an efficient trade show experience.
“From the very start, the hall aisles at Motek/Bondexpos were very well attended,” sums up Georg Knauer, project manager for the dual trade show. “It became clear right from the morning that trade visitors were taking advantage of the benefits of attending a cross-thematic trade show. After all, to achieve greater efficiency and cost-effectiveness, manufacturing companies plan their systems holistically. Since image recognition and image processing are integral components of automated production processes, trade visitors to this year’s Motek/Bondexpo can meet all relevant contacts on-site.”
Complementary Production Expertise under one Roof
As a trade show for production and assembly automation, Motek/Bondexpo covers the entire value chain and, through its collaboration with the VISION trade show—which focuses on image processing—creates targeted, beneficial networking opportunities. By visiting Motek/Bondexpo in Hall 6 and VISION in the adjacent Halls 8 and 10, trade visitors can quickly gain an overview of how image recognition and image processing are integrated into production systems. Many plant manufacturers took advantage of this opportunity to meet all relevant contacts in one place at the same time as early as the first day of the trade show; their goal is to gain new insights and forge partnerships to improve manufacturing processes.
Opportunities for Synergy in Manufacturing Operations
This fall, the dual trade show for the production automation industry—featuring VISION, EFX (Expo for Electronics Manufacturing), and Quantum Effects—will create a unique technology platform in the Stuttgart exhibition halls. A single ticket grants trade visitors access to all events. EFX is the new industry event for electronics manufacturing and showcases trends and technologies related to the production of electronic components. Quantum Effects, a trade show and conference for quantum technologies, bridges the gap between science, startups, and industry.
Knowledge Transfer by Production Experts at the Lecture Forum
In addition to visiting the trade show, interested trade visitors can benefit from knowledge transfer through the expert forum. The program for the second day of the trade show also features highly interesting lecture topics: Topics include modern separation of bulk parts, opportunities for using AI in industrial image processing, digital worker guidance, industrial marking, and resilience through knowledge. Overall, the lecture forum focuses on topics related to future-proof manufacturing and creates a platform that complements the trade show, where machine builders, system integrators, and end customers can exchange ideas directly.
The traditional industry highlight, Motek/Bondexpo, is at the heart of the market and stands out for its high practical relevance. All interested parties in the field of production automation are cordially invited to take advantage of the opportunities for synergy at this year’s fall event to achieve greater efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The trade show will be open daily from 9:00 a.m. October 6–8, 2026.
