The compact lightweight design of our aluminium rail guides offers a weight-reduction of up to 60% compared to steel guides. Aluminium profile rail guides are often used when the load is lighter, the required guidance accuracy is lower but price and weight reduction is relevant. The assembly costs can be reduced as these aluminium guides offer a high error compensation of the assembly surface.


ALULIN® rail guides by Dr. TRETTER feature the same connection dimensions according to DIN 645 as many other common profile rail guides. However, the distinctive feature of our aluminium rail guides are the stainless steel profiles. These profiles are pressed into both the aluminium rails and the aluminium carriages, using a patented process. This leads to a long service life. Beyond that, these rail guides are used when rust- and dirt-resistance are deciding factors.
