Lightweight and compact Electric Gripper based world's smallest class Bi-directional Ballscrew
Since 1964 supplier KSS (Japan) is the market leader and specialist in high precision Rolled Ball Screw bearings. The supplier introduced the compact Serie of grippers that Utilize KSS miniature technology to achieve compactness and weight reduction.
The gripper is a combination of Bi-directional Ball Screw (Φ4mm, Lead 2mm), a slide guide rail, coreless DC geared Motor and a Linear incremental encoder, utilizing multi-point positioning drive and grip force control.
The gripper can be mounted from 4 sides as a flexible design and enables customers to allow regular maintenance.
Next to a manual opening/closing operation, Centering and dimensional measurement are possible （only with our designated Driver）.
as suitable driver the supplier selected the D6180.
The compact driver can be mounted on DIN-rail, and has a supply Voltage of DC24V (capacity 1A) The Gripping operation is possible with 3 inputs (Return to origin, gripping operation, standby position operation) and Preparing 3 outputs (Completion of return to origin, gripping, and warning alarm), de driver has a RS485 serial communication port
