Assemblio GmbH, an innovative company based in Stuttgart, specializes in revolutionizing assembly planning. Assemblio’s mission is clear: to use state-of-the-art technology to make the creation of assembly instructions easier, faster, more efficient and more resource-friendly through automation.

Assemblio is presenting the first Software as a Service (SaaS) solution for the automated creation of assembly instructions at Motek 2024. With the help of the software solution, Assemblio shortens a previously time-consuming process that often took days, weeks or even months to a few minutes or hours.

Say goodbye to manual assembly planning and time-consuming documentation

The manual creation of assembly instructions is currently very cost-intensive, error-prone and involves an enormous amount of time and manpower.

This is where Assemblio comes in. Unlike manual assembly planning, Assemblio does not use elaborately created screenshots that are manually transferred to MS Word, but an AI to analyze and document 3D models of the assembly. The result of the analysis is the automatic determination of the assembly sequence, assembly type, assembly direction, assembly restrictions and much more. All of this can be quickly and easily customized within the Assemblio Composer using simple drag-and-drop and supplemented with annotations.

The assembly instructions are created automatically and can be exported as a PDF or video. With the help of our 3D visualization tool, the Assemblio Smart Viewer, the assembly steps can be easily viewed at any time and shared with the relevant stakeholders via a link.

In this way, the creation of assembly instructions can be completed in just a few minutes, where previously it took hours, days or weeks. This creates valuable time that can be invested in new development projects or the consolidation of core competencies, for example.

One step ahead of the competition

By automating assembly planning with Assemblio, our customers can save time and resources, increase their efficiency and reduce costs. At the same time, the quality and accuracy of their assembly planning processes and assembly instructions are improved, the error rate is reduced, energy and resource wastage is minimized and productivity is increased. Assemblio is designed to be highly user-friendly and simple and intuitive to use, making it easy to use and accessible to everyone, regardless of their level of training.

The technology itself has been developed and tested at Fraunhofer IPA over many years. Assemblio is currently used in many industries, including automotive, mechanical engineering, automation technology and electronics production. Our customers include the WEISS Group and Siemens, as well as research institutes such as the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft. Assemblio is particularly suitable for manufacturing companies that want to optimize their assembly planning and master the complexity of their products and variants.

The more complex the products, the greater the savings. Compared to the previous manual assembly planning of products with, for example, 800 parts, Assemblio speeds up the creation of assembly instructions by a factor of 32, i.e. what previously took 100 hours (2.5 weeks) is completed in just 3 hours with the help of Assemblio. At the same time, the quality and accuracy of assembly planning processes and documentation are increased.

Assemblio stands for innovation and efficiency. You too can benefit from the advantages of our SaaS solution and say goodbye to inefficient, time-consuming and cost-intensive manual creation of assembly instructions.
