The world of industrial production is developing rapidly – and Motek is going with it! From 07. to October 10, 2019, trade visitors will get answers to their questions about practically feasible solutions for process automation from the 38th Motek – International Trade Fair for Production and Assembly Automation.

The “good old factory” is to become a “smart factory” – but how? Motek 2019 will show trade visitors that industrially usable and thus future-proof solutions are already available to customers and users of today and tomorrow. Motek – and only Motek – represents the complete world of rapidly changing process automation. Nowhere else can trade fair visitors get such a comprehensive picture of the latest products and systems for industrial production and assembly automation. All the more so when the buzzwords digitalization and networking generate uncertainty in many places. In any case, they represent a tremendous change for everyday industrial life, and so the Stuttgart process chain trade fair is more than ever a must-attend event for all designers, users and production managers who are looking for practical solutions for modern industrial manufacturing and assembly.

Integration: Nothing stands alone anymore

As always, trade fair promoter P.E. Schall GmbH & Co. KG designs Motek to be strictly application and practice-oriented. Trade visitors can work their way successively through the topic of production and assembly automation, starting with incoming materials and covering all process steps including quality assurance, labeling, packaging, picking and intralogistics – or devote themselves directly to a specific topic. The structure of the trade show is consistently oriented to everyday production and ensures quick orientation and short distances. Visitors to the trade fair will find assembly systems, handling technology, robots, joining and screwdriving technology, material flow and conveyor systems, measuring and testing technology as well as drives, controls, sensors and software. At Motek, designers and users will find basic systems, details and components as well as cross-divisional solution approaches, networked and interlinked systems including software and industrial communication. But no product, no system stands alone anymore – from now on it’s all about comprehensive integration! Motek 2019 wants to show that this is not just a buzzword either, but a usable reality.

Manufacturing: Digital, networked and mapped end-to-end

Trade visitors are interested in the manufacturing process as an overall system within the framework of progressive, end-to-end digitization of automation. He is looking for turnkey, integrated system solutions for modern production and will find answers to all the current questions that concern him on the way to the smart factory at Motek 2019. “For us at Motek, digitization is not a marketing tool, but content,” states Bettina Schall, Managing Director of P.E. Schall GmbH & Co. KG. “Networking, big data, artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things are on everyone’s lips and have already arrived in many companies, but trade visitors from the industrial manufacturing sector still have unanswered questions. Together with our exhibitors and cooperation partners, such as the Landesnetzwerk Mechatronik Baden-Württemberg e.V. with the further developed “Arena of Integration”, they can work out concrete answers for usable reality.”

Proven trade fair duo: Motek and Bondexpo

Integrated, practical, usable – Motek is traditionally pragmatically positioned. This is why Bondexpo – International Trade Fair for Adhesive Bonding Technology – is now taking place for the 13th time alongside the industry highlight Motek. Both fairs coincide as a reflection of a highly dynamically changing industrial manufacturing practice. The trade show team expects about 1,000 exhibitors on 63,000 square meters of hall space.
