Together with the exhibitor advisory board for Motek/Bondexpo 2020, the Schall trade fair company has decided to postpone this year’s 39th Motek – International Trade Fair for Production and Assembly Automation – until 2021.

This year’s Motek/Bondexpo will be postponed to next year. From the point of view of the trade fair organizer, the Motek/Bondexpo from 05. can take place until 08 October 2020. “We fought for a long time to adapt the corona-related framework conditions with all parties involved so that Motek/Bondexpo 2020 could have been successful,” says Bettina Schall, Managing Director of P. E. Schall GmbH & Co. KG. To this end, a hygiene and safety concept was developed for safe execution. “But together with the exhibitor advisory board, we have now decided to postpone Motek/Bondexpo 2020 until October 2021.” This decision is based on common sense and a sense of responsibility, emphasizes Bettina Schall: “As a trade fair company, we see ourselves as a service provider for our exhibitors and trade visitors. The current uncertainties among exhibitors and visitors, for example with regard to possible travel and the sufficient deployment of employees, now dictate that we look to 2021 pragmatically and confidently.”

The now advanced time also speaks for a postponement. For weeks, organizers and exhibitors had to exercise patience due to delays in decisions by the responsible authorities. But now the focus is on the future: “Exhibitors and trade visitors alike should be able to build on the success of the past industry highlights Motek/Bondexpo in 2021. That’s why we are all now embarking on solid and thorough planning for next year,” says Bettina Schall. The joint decision by the Exhibitor Advisory Board and the trade show organizers to postpone Motek/Bondexpo 2020 underscores the care, foresight and consideration for the concerns of exhibitors and trade visitors alike, he said. The commitment is now focused on the intensive preparation of the next trade show highlight, Motek/Bondexpo 2021, with the aim of getting ready for the future. The Motek/Bondexpo, leading trade fair for the world of automation, is therefore scheduled for 05. – 08 October 2021 are particularly expected. After all, industrial users need practical and economical automation solutions – especially in economically difficult times. The Motek product and service portfolio with components, assemblies, subsystems and complete systems for automated production and assembly, including joining technology as an integral part of industrial manufacturing, will then be presented at the cutting edge and enable customers to increase their productivity and enhance their flexibility and cost-effectiveness – so that they are optimally equipped for the manufacturing of the future.

The next Motek/Bondexpo will take place from 05. to 08 October 2021 will be held in Stuttgart.
